The following Information Resources offices will be closed Wednesday, January 15th, from 9:30 am – 4 pm for professional staff development:

*Please note the Memorial Library building will be closing at 10 am on Wednesday January 15. This will allow all staff to participate in the Information Resources Professional Development Day.

Censorship by the Numbers:
“In 2023, the American Library Association documented the highest number of titles targeted for censorship since ALA began compiling data more than 20 years ago. 4,240 unique titles were challenge last year, up from 2,571 targeted into 2022.”

Censorship on the Rise:
