Women and Social Movements in the United States 1600 to 2000 brings together primary

The database chronicles the multiplicity of women’s activism in American public life from Colonial times to the present. The database contains tens of thousands pages of books, pamphlets, and related materials—for example, The History of Woman Suffrage (six volumes, 1881-1922); the proceedings of the national conventions of women’s anti-slavery societies in the 1830s; the proceedings of woman’s rights conventions, 1848-1869; the proceedings of the annual conventions of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union, 1874-1898; and publications of the League of Women Voters, 1920-2000.

Oxford Art Online gives access to 4 art resources:

Grove Art Online, a scholarly art encyclopedia, covering both Western and non-Western art. First published as the 34-volume Dictionary of Art, edited by Jane Turner, the content of Grove Art encompasses all aspects of visual culture. New Geoscience Resource Available: GeoScienceWorld

Memorial Library now offers access to GeoScienceWorld, an online resource for research in geological and earth sciences. GeoScienceWorld provides access to citation information and, in many cases, full-text articles from the publications of leading geosciences societies and university presses. GeoScienceWorld includes journals and archives of more than 45 digital journals from 28 global publishers as well as specialized tools developed in partnership with Google Maps and GeoRef, another major research tool for the geosciences.
