The Makerspace is a creative technology lab on the second floor of Memorial Library. It has a variety of high-tech (3D printers & VR headsets) and traditional crafting supplies/equipment. Staff are always available to guide you through a project. Supplies and materials are free for students completing personal projects. If a club or organization would like to use the Makerspace for a project, contact Karen Dafoe (karen.dafoe@cortland.edu).
Also new this year is the Stress Less, Make More Mobile Makerspace Cart funded by the SUNY Cortland Auxiliary Services. The cart, located on the first floor of the library, will have a different stress reducing activity weekly.
Starting on Tuesday 9/2, the Makerspace Open Hours will be as follows:
Sunday 2-7PM
Monday – Thursday 12-7 PM
Friday 12-4:30PM
