Rhytidiadelphus triquetrus (Hedw.) Warnst.
Rhytidiadelphus triquetrus is a larger loosely tufted moss which may be found on soil near or around moist to wet areas. The leaves are translucent when wet and held to light, when doing this it is noticeable the leaves have a double costa, which is at least half the length of the leaf. The leaves are also ovate with a wide base.
The leaves on their underside near the apex are strongly papillose, which can be seen under higher magnification and is characteristic of this species.
