Leucobryum glaucum

Leucobryum glaucum, (Hedw.) Ångstr.

Leucobryum glaucum is generally taller then 1cm, and has a whitish tint to it.  leaves wet or dry have tubular tips and are not transparent. Normally grows on soil or almost completely decomposed logs on the secondary forest floor, but may grow on less decomposed logs. It generally grows in rounded tight tufts.
