Scapania nemorosa  (Linnaeus) Dum.

Scapania nemorosa has two-lobbed leaves which are pressed together. Both lobes are decurrent and toothed. The lower lobe is larger then the upper lobe.  Both lobes teeth are multi-celled. It commonly is found on wet to damp rocks or soil overlaying rocks.
