Leskeella nervosa

Leskeella nervosa (Brid.) Loeske

Leskeella nervosa can most commonly be found growing on decaying logs or bases of trees. Branching irregularly, with leaves held tightly to the branches when dry, giving them their characteristic mini-shoestring like appearance. When wet they spread out slightly. TheĀ  apex of the branches will some times contain clusters of brood branchlets.
