Pleurozium schreberi (Brid.) Mitt

 Pleurozium schreberi  is a large robust moss, often reaching lengths of 7 to 16 cm long and can most commonly be found on rocks or soils, and the stems grow irregularly with pinnate branching. leaves are ovate. The moss generally grows in fairly robust mats.
