Plagiothecium denticulatum, (Hedw.) Schimp.
Plagiothecium denticulatum prefers wet habitats and can be found on the shale walls of the gorge, although it can be found on other substrates as well. The moss has a very shiny appearance and is complanate. The leaves lack a costa and are ovate. When the leaves dry they become pleated and semi contorted. When wet they fan out away from the stem. Capsules are generally curved.
