Herzogiella striatella (Brid.) Z. Iwats.
Herzogiella striatella can be found in moist shady areas on a variety of substrates. The branches are normally vertical and form irregularly from the stem. The leaves are ovate with a long narrowed tip. The leaves when dry are held to the stem, when wet they spread out. When the capsules have lids, the lids are conical. The capsules are curves to inclined and are elongated with ribs running lengthwise(most noticeable when dry- Image 4).
