Fontinalis antipyretica Hedw.

Fontinalis antipyretica can commonly be found in the gorge attached to rocks in running water, it is often submerged. It may also grow attached to other substrates that are subjected to flowing water. The leaves when wet are translucent and keeled with out a costa. This moss is often used in fresh water aquaria.
