Brachythecium salebrosum (F. Weber & D. Mohr) Schimp.
Brachythecium salebrosum can generally be found on soil, rocks, and logs. The moss irregularly branches and is densely leafed. When wet the leaves spread slightly and become less folded. When dry the leaves fold in closer and become pleated (Image 4 & 5). The leaves are lanceolate with a costa. The capsules curve over and have a conical lid (Image 6).
