Introducing Virtual Study Rooms
Some of you may have missed study groups, so we have created a place for students to meet online, using Microsoft Teams. You can either use a web browser or download the Microsoft Teams app. If you use a web browser, we recommend using Chrome Google since Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox do not support teams.
· Once you have formed a study group with a few classmates, you can access any of our Virtual Study Rooms. If the room you enter is already in use, you can quickly switch to one of the others by clicking on the related tab on the left.
· When the first student from your group enters the room, click on the “meet” tab in the upper right-hand corner to start a meeting. Select this, and you will begin the meeting for others to join. If the meeting has already begun, there will be a box in the chat prompting you to join the call.
· These virtual study rooms are available 24/7 on a first-come, first-serve basis. We ask that study groups limit the use of these rooms for academic purposes and that they limit sessions to two hours or less
