The source here is a folio, which is a term used to number manuscripts in the same way as pages are used, from the Khamsa (Quintet) of Amir Khusrau Dihlavi. This folio tells the story of a Muslim who encounters a Hindu Brahman on their respective pilgrimages. The Brahman comes out of his temple, displaying extreme devotion, while the Muslim is impressed by devotion but believes that he is misguided. In the end, they both go their different ways, to their separate pilgrimages. The object is made out of Ink, opaque watercolor, and gold on paper with the margins being made out of Gold on dyed paper.
