Now that upstate New York winter is in full effect, it\u2019s the perfect time of year to enjoy a nice, warm cup of coffee. Even if you\u2019re an iced-coffee enjoyer, Cortland has plenty of options to fulfill your caffeine needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffee Mania<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffee Mania is perfect for your on-the-go coffee needs. They operate out of small drive through shacks and have two locations in Cortland, one being at 160 Port Watson St. and one at 1142 RT 222. Both locations are open Monday-Friday from 5:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm, 6:00 am -6:00 pm Saturdays, and 6:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm on Sundays. With beans sourced from around the world, Coffee Mania is not short on options for you to choose from. Enjoy hot or cold coffee served however you\u2019d like it, or try their teas and smoothies which are consistently good as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bru 64<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Bru is also known for their food and beer\/entertainment later in the day, their coffee is what steals the show. They are located at 64 Main Street and operate Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am \u2013 8:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am \u2013 9:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm, and Sunday 8:00 am \u2013 3:00 pm. Inside, there is plenty of seating and a warm environment, perfect for sitting down and relaxing with your beverage. Their prices are also very reasonable, charging less than $3 for a large coffee. While Bru may have limited options compared to other coffee spots, they make up for it through quality and value. Stop in and try a regular cup, or give their \u201cBru-ser\u201d a go, which is their organic blend coffee with espresso shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 Brew Coffee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A newer option in Cortland is 7 Brew, a lively drive through shop that seems to be a major attractor of college students. They have set up shop at 879 Rt. 13 and are open from 5:30 am \u2013 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 am \u2013 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. If you\u2019re someone that enjoys sweet drinks and plenty of sugar in your coffee, this may be the place for you. While delicious, some of their coffees pack a sugary punch that isn\u2019t for everyone, so be mindful when ordering. Also, this place brings the most energy out of any coffee shop I\u2019ve been to, so if you\u2019re going first thing in the morning, don\u2019t be startled when you\u2019re met with music and enthusiasm to start your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunkin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Dunkin may be an obvious answer, I find myself grabbing coffee there too frequently to not include it on this list. Not only that, but there are also four Dunkin locations in Cortland, making it an option no matter where in Cortland you find yourself. They are located at 162 Tompkins Street, 152 Clinton Avenue, 103 Prospect Terrace, and 927 Rt. 13. While there\u2019s nothing overwhelmingly notable, they offer solid coffee at good prices, which makes it a reasonable daily candidate. Not to mention the 6 dollar meal deal, which includes a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, hash browns, and a medium hot or iced coffee all for only $6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you\u2019re an avid coffee lover or someone who just enjoys a cup from time to time, I hope this list stays in the back of your mind for the next time you\u2019re deciding on a spot. By no means does this list guarantee you\u2019ll find the best coffee in the world, but it should put you on the right track for finding a coffee place perfect for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
