A slow-paced morning will allow you are pay attention to your body. Allow yourself to have one slow morning to be lazy. Relax and get some rest, and begin your day slowly.
Eat Well
- Spend some time making some food that brings you joy. If during the week you’re used to waking up and eating on the go, on Sunday mornings, you should either cook or get something to eat and enjoy your food. Maybe play a relaxing song or catch up on a show and let yourself enjoy the moment. A peaceful, healthy breakfast may set the tone for the day.
Start or Finish Up Some School Work
- Although it’s easy to put off doing schoolwork until Monday, spending some of your Sunday doing assignments or studying for an upcoming exam will lighten the mood for the coming week. You feel one step ahead rather than one step behind when you take the time to do it. Give yourself an hour or two to concentrate. Just starting anything at all is important; you don’t have to get it all done. You’ll feel so much better and won’t feel like you’re playing catch-up the whole week. Set yourself up for success!

- With a clear and clean space, you will feel more productive, and it might be easier to get any other tasks done. You’ll clear up space in your mind if the space around you is looking its best. So light a candle or put on the music you love as you clean. Maybe this is something you have been putting off, but taking a small portion of the day to get it done would only benefit you in the long run.
Slow Down Before Bed
- To get a good night of sleep, it’s really important to slow down and unwind. If you run around and move around tasks at a fast pace, it might take you longer to fall asleep. Some things you can do are taking a night bath or shower, drinking a cup of tea, reading a book, setting your alarms for the day to come, and then putting your phone down. A calm night can make the next day less nerve-racking.
