College may be exhausting, and let’s face it and staying motivated while dealing with constant schoolwork and extracurriculars might be stressful. Movies like this remind you that when you feel as though life is getting tough it’s important to be grateful and keep trying. This was based on a true event, the film follows Will Smith’s character as he pursues a career in finance while battling homelessness. It puts into perspective that if he can have constant disappointment and restless nights you can make it through tough times too.
- Legally Blonde
Elle Woods is the perfect example of how to stay true to herself which in her case it’s important to be fashionable, she then learns that it’s as important to be intelligent. She enrolls at Harvard Law to prove her ex-boyfriend wrong because he thinks she lacked some depth. She sets some great examples that staying confident in yourself and abilities will ultimately lead you in the right direction. Any female who needs a reminder of her own strength should watch it.

The movie The Social Network tells the story of how Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook in his room at the dorm. A good movie to remind yourself that what you get out of college can be more than how good your GPA can be, it can also be about finding what you’re meant to do.

This film follows Will Hunting’s journey toward self-acceptance. Will Hunting is a math prodigy who lacks confidence.The largest challenges can occasionally be found within oneself. It will also undoubtedly cause you to reconsider your whole college experience.
- Rocky
Rocky is one of those feel good movies that leaves you with a new perspective after you finish it. Rocky is all about perseverance. Rocky Balboa trained over all difficulties to become a champion, this may give some motivation to overcome any difficulties of your own. It shows how powerful support is to have around you and how important it is to believe in yourself.
- The Theory of Everything
In college I’m sure that there have been many times where you just can’t seem to understand your assignments. Watching this movie can honestly make those assignments feel pretty small. The Theory of Everything tells the life of Stephen Hawking, a brilliant physicist who made major breakthroughs despite his illness.
