As we celebrate Women’s History Month this March, SUNY Cortland is proud to share the contributions of women in history and their impact on our world today. This month gives us an opportunity to look at the achievements of those who have shaped our communities and to honor those whose voices continue to inspire change.
Rosita Stevens-Hosley, the niece of the legendary Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray, will lead an insightful presentation on her aunt’s legacy. Murray was a trailblazer, serving as a teacher, lawyer, advocate for social justice, and priest. Her excellent work has inspired generations to take action in their own lives and communities.
The president of Preserving Pauli Murray, LLC, Rosita Stevens-Hosley works to support Pauli Murray’s contributions that inspire future generations. Rosita will share Murray’s groundbreaking work and the lasting impact of Black women in the fight for social justice.
Join us as we share the life of Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray, whose influence continues to shape movements for equality and empowerment today.
