Get the Looks: Grammys 2025 Red Carpet Fashion: See All the Outfits & Looks from Last Night | Vogue
It is safe to say the celebrities did not hold back this year. The carpet hosted some of the biggest stars in music such as Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish. Outfits ranged from classic tuxedos, classic ballgowns, completely sheer corsets, and house headpieces.
Yes, I am talking about Kanye West’s, girlfriend, Bianca Censori, who shocked the media with her sheer dress (or lack thereof). The outfit was so offensive that the two were denied entrance to the award show following the scandalous carpet stunt.
26-year-old Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith, left the audience confused after walking the carpet wearing a Louis Vuitton suit with a large black castle on his head. Fans took to X immediately stating, “Some how Jaden Smith’s outfit is worse than Bianca Censori’s,”
Bianca and Jaden did not make my best-dressed list, but let’s take a look at the stars who did.
# 1 Madison Beer
Madison Beer stole the show wearing a mermaid-inspired gown from the Miss Sohee spring 2025 couture collection. The strapless dress featured a sheer corset with a deep-cut sweetheart neckline, decorated with a light jade green appliqué. The back of the dress featured lace detailing completed with a long train that contrasted the tight bodice.
My favorite part of the look was the green cape complete with puff sleeves and a long train. The train was decorated with a hand-beaded design. Beer’s glam for the evening was simple and complimented her natural beauty. Her hair was styled in beachy waves with delicate crystals, giving her a whimsical fairy look.
Everything about the look was simply gorgeous, by far my favorite of the night.
Beer was nominated for best dance/pop recording for her hit song “Make You Mine”. She is an extremely underrated artist and fashion icon.
# 2 Olivia Rodrigo
Rodrigo has dominated the music scene since her debut album “Sour”, released in 2021. The pop star is known for her flirty, grungy and somewhat nerdy style. I was shocked to see her in something so sleek and mature, but I loved it.
Olivia was a bombshell, wearing vintage Versace. The black halter-neck gown featured various cutouts, from the center keyhole to the geometric side waist openings that carved into a show-stopping backless silhouette. She completed the look with Tiffany & Co. diamonds.
She perfectly pulled off the “little black dress” number, making it known, that on the carpet, less is more. This was my favorite look I’ve seen her in so far and made me excited to see more future looks.
Rodrigo was nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Can’t Catch Me Now,” which was featured in the Hunger Games prequel movie The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
# 3 Doechii
New to the Grammys scene, Doechii, made a lasting impression, becoming the 3rd woman ever to win rap album of the year, a feat previously accomplished by Lauryn Hill and Cardi B. Doechii took home the award for Best Rap Album for her work, Alligator Bites Never Heal.
The self-titled “Swamp Princess” wore an off-the-shoulder gray pinstripe dress with corseting detail down the back. This was overtopping a white Oxford shirt with the designer, Thom Browne’s, signature red, white, and blue armband. The outfit was clean-cut, and I love how she played with masculine silhouettes. The look was innovative and is sure to be one of my top looks of 2025.
The first-time Grammy winner wore four custom Thom Browne looks, as she performed her two hits “Catfish” and “Denial is a River”
Doechii is beautiful, talented and as an amazing sense of style, she is a new artist to watch in 2025.
# 4 Shaboozey
Making his Grammy debut, Shaboozey was nominated 5 times, including awards such as Best New Artist. Shaboozey also performed his smash hit “Bar Song”, his performance and outfits were amazing.
On the carpet, he wore a perfectly tailored, grey suit jacket, which featured floor-length tassels and a scarf. The jacket was accompanied by sleek dress pants and a silver broach. This custom Disel look was the perfect balance between glamour and country.
Shaboozey was by far the best dressed man at the award, but a fun, western twist on a classic tuxedo silhouette.
I love when artists take a risk and ditch the traditional black-and-white suit, and Shaboozey did just that.
