With busy schedules and abundant workloads, students struggle to find time to earn their own money. However, SUNY Cortland Student Employment Services has helped students find jobs on campus.
Career Services, located in Van Hoesen Hall, Room B-5, has created a platform for students to search and apply for part-time jobs and internships on campus. They define their services as, “…opportunities both on and off campus that will serve college students’ ever-changing schedules, and provide necessary employment skills development”.
What You Need
- For each job posting, a resume is required. If a student lacks a resume or is uncertain about it, career services can help develop and optimize their resume.
- Some postings ask for a cover letter and/or a disability statement
- All postings require a class schedule, and at other times a student is unavailable
- A human resources account, which can be created through the website along with an option to login through LinkedIn
