As the semester comes to an end and Summer is just around the corner, don’t let the warm weather catch you by surprise. If you’re like me, you are already planning and researching how you are gonna spend your time off from school.
- Fire Island: Fire island is my favorite weekend spot to escape reality for a bit and enter a serene beach getaway. The nightlife at Fire Island is also full of fun and adventure. But I must say spending the day there is my favorite. With gorgeous shores, charming towns, and stunning sunsets, Fire Island offers the perfect retreat for relaxation.
- Jones Beach Boardwalk: Take a stroll on the iconic Jones Beach Boardwalk for classic summer fun. From gorgeous ocean views, delicious food, and miniature golf, have fun soaking up the sun on the sandy shores of one of Long Island’s most beloved beaches.
- Margaritaville in Manhattan: Transport yourself to an island paradise without leaving the city at Margaritaville in Manhattan. This tropical-themed restaurant and bar serves up delicious cocktails, live music, and laid-back vibes, making it the ultimate chill spot to unwind and escape reality.
- The Hamptons: Have a luxurious weekend you won’t forget in the Hamptons. From glamorous beachfront mansions to high-end boutiques and gourmet restaurants, this exclusive area on Long Island’s East End offers a glamorous summer getaway.
- Montauk: Known as the “End of the World,” Montauk is a haven for beach lovers. Whether you’re surfing the waves, fishing off the pier, or hiking through scenic trails, Montauk’s natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere make it a must-visit destination for summer.
- Long Beach: Just a short trip from Manhattan, enjoy Long Beach’s gorgeous coastline and a vibrant and fun boardwalk lined with shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. Whether you’re soaking up the sun, catching a wave, or enjoying a leisurely bike ride, Long Beach offers something for everyone.
- Old Westbury Gardens: Step back in time and immerse yourself in the beauty of Old Westbury Gardens. Growing up I would visit once a summer at least and I always had a great time. This historic estate features exquisite gardens, elegant architecture, and scenic walking paths, making it the perfect destination for a leisurely summer afternoon surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility
These are just some of my must visit New York spots for the summer. I love living in New York because it seems no matter where you go in the summer you will have a great experience with beautiful scenery, food, and fun.
