The spring semester ends again. Scheduling for the fall semester is on everyone’s minds. For many students, the process can want to try to score concert tickets on Ticketmaster – you are eagerly eyeing the seat count, hoping to score the perfect lineup of classes. But just like with concerts, the competition can be tough and the stress levels high.
Many students plan their dream schedules well in advance, only to find their hopes crushed when their registration time slot rolls around later than others. Suddenly, those ideal class times are filled up fast.
Students who are planning to take classes in the Fall of 2024 discuss their experiences when enrolling for classes.
“I was super stressed all week, worrying I wouldn’t get into my required classes. My time ticket was late compared to my friends in the same major. Luckily, I got all the classes I needed.”
-Communications Major, Delani
“I love planning my schedule. I got an early registration time, so I was able to enroll into everything I needed as well as get my desired times and days.”
-Early Childhood Education Major, Ginamarie
“I was very stressed I wasn’t able to get into any of the classes I needed to, by the time I could sign up all the classes were filled.”
-Early Childhood Education Major, Amy
It is a repetitive cycle for students everywhere and navigating the chaos of scheduling can often feel like a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
