Studying abroad is an opportunity for students to learn in a whole new way. You will be able to grow personally by experiencing different cultures and seeing the world from different perspectives.
Why Study Abroad?
Studying abroad is impressive on a resume. It demonstrates to potential employers that you are adventurous and open to new experiences. Doing this is a valuable experience that can enrich your life in many ways.
Study Abroad Student Experiences
Grace Mezzatesta, a Junior, stated, “Living in London and traveling to numerous countries independently or with company has taught me so much more about myself than anything else has before.” She discusses how traveling around has made her overall a more confident person. One of the most important things she has learned after spending an entire semester abroad was learning what it means to be truly independent as well as being her true self.
Rae Maherr and Emilla Pasquale, who are Juniors, talked about how even though it is only day five of being in Spain, they have learned so much. They discussed how they have already begun to be able to speak Spanish as well as understand it more. Both of them describe the food as amazing and how it even feels healthier. They emphasized how they would want everyone to be able to experience this.
“I love this experience, I am going to tell every single person I talk to how amazing it was and make it my personality trait for the rest of my life.”
Rae Maherr
