Tesla Recalls almost all vehicles sold in the U.S.

Jack Pagel · December 13, 2023

Tesla recalls almost all of their vehicles sold in the U.S. to fix system that monitors drivers using autopilot.

One of the newest technological advancements in the automobile industry is the use of autopilot, Tesla being one of the most common companies to include this feature in their vehicle. However, many people have issues with it because of how trustworthy it is or how many people will actually still be paying attention to the road.

This recent recall is due to studies over the years of how many crashes occurred during the use of autopilot because of people relying fully on the autopilot. Some of the crashes were even deadly. The hopeful outcome of this recall is to fix this issue by creating more advanced alerts to increase drivers attention.

Hopefully this recall will result with more attentive, responsible and safe drivers on the roads, reduce the risk of crashes and make autopilot a more responsible and safer addition to cars in the future.
