This year’s Family weekend was October 6th-8th 2023. Family Weekend in Cortland has a variety of activities planned for everyone to enjoy. Some of the activities included campus tours, sporting events, live performances, workshops, and family-friendly games. It is a fantastic opportunity to bond with your loved ones and create lasting memories.

Sports
Several sporting events happened during Family Weekend in Cortland. SUNY Cortland’s football team won 56-3 against Utica. Football games are always exciting at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex. It is a wonderful way to cheer on the team and enjoy the energetic atmosphere! Apart from football, many other sporting events happened during Family Weekend in Cortland. Women’s club field hockey played Colgate and women’s soccer played Geneseo.
Trivia and Exploring
Aside from sports there were many other activities to participate in such as the presidents BBQ with SUNY Cortland’s President Erik J. Bitterbaum and Joe Mascetta, Student Government President family trivia. The campus and surrounding Cortland area were packed with students and their families exploring. Parents Weekend is a special time for families to come together and experience college life.
