Christian Lembo
Introducing Christian Lembo, the defensive powerhouse who’s making waves as the newest addition to our team! Hailing from Farmingdale State College down on the vibrant Long Island, Christian brings with him an impressive resume that has us all on the edge of our seats.
Last season, Christian’s prowess on the field earned him a well-deserved spot on the Second Team All-Skyline Conference. With an astounding 56 ground balls and a jaw-dropping 33 caused turnovers, he was a powerful force in leading the Rams to a spectacular 14-4 season. Notably, Christian’s standout performances included epic victories against powerhouse teams like Keystone College and Hartwick.
But that’s not all – Christian was a true game-changer on numerous occasions. He unleashed his defensive wizardry in games like the showdown against Eastern Connecticut, where he single-handedly caused 7 turnovers, and against Alvernia, where he effectively shut down the Golden Wolves’ offense with 5 caused turnovers and scooped up 6 ground balls. It’s no wonder that he’s become a force to be reckoned with on the lacrosse field.
Ryan Eccles
Meet the gamechanger, Ryan Eccles, who arrived on the scene as a former SUNYAC rival from Oswego, but quickly transformed into an indispensable asset for our Red Dragon offense. Ryan’s journey from middie for the Lakers to becoming a linchpin for us has been nothing short of extraordinary.
During his time with the Lakers, Ryan orchestrated an impressive 8-6 record, delivering pivotal victories against formidable opponents like Morrisville State College and New Paltz. However, it was his electrifying performance against Cortland during his sophomore year that truly left its mark, as he skillfully netted a goal against none other than our own Travis Wagner.
But Ryan’s talents extend beyond scoring goals. In just 12 games, he amassed an impressive 22 goals with an astonishing 30% shooting percentage. Yet, he wasn’t content with just being a sharpshooter. Ryan also played the role of a team player, dishing out 18 assists, showcasing his commitment to elevating the performance of his teammates. Stay tuned as Ryan Eccles continues to bring his unique play style to light up the Red Dragon Offense!
