As midterms come to an end this coming week, students will have the week off to relax and take a short, but needed, break. How will you be spending your break?
For many students, they will be heading to their hometowns to spend time with their families and friends. For others, they will be getting away from the cold New York weather and taking their week off to enjoy the sun.
Spring break leads to mass amounts of students to travel and take vacation with their friends. Many young adults travel to destinations such as Panama City Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Mexico or Cancun.
While spring break trips are a fun time for students, it’s also important to be safe and stay aware of anything that could go wrong. Good ways for students to ensure this is to not excessively drink, stick with friends and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
One popular destination many Cortland students will be traveling to is Punta Cana. Students have collectively gotten into contact with a travel agency by the name of Fuse, in which they will be providing an all inclusive trip for students both here in Cortland and all over the country.
One of the main headliners performing at the resort is notable rapper Waka Flocka Flame, as he and other artists and DJ’s will be in attendance.
Fuse provides other vacation deals for all seasons, including fall break as well. If you are interested in booking a trip in the near future, visit their website at www.fuseexperiences.com.
Despite the cost it may be or the risks there are on a spring break trip, the experience is priceless. Making memories at the beaches and exploring new places are opportunities that only come around once in a lifetime.
