On Halloween, the NFL will be giving us one of the most intriguing games of the year. Like every Monday during the season, football will be on. The Browns are taking on the Bengals in Cleveland, with hopes of picking up their 3rd win of the season.
Cleveland hopes to put on a strong performance against the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals. With the number two rushing offense, the Browns are very capable of competing despite their losing record. The Browns rank third in the NFL for total offense, and the Bengals sit at #7. This will be a fun game to watch if you love touchdowns!
The Bengals have won 4 out of their last five games, so Cleveland will need to bring “boo” if they plan to scare the bengals off.
Be on the lookout for these Scary Sights on Halloween:
‘Monsters Matched Up‘
Myles Garrett vs. La’el Collins
He missed a game early in the season, but Myles Garrett has still logged 5 sacks so far. As well as 15 total tackles from the defensive end position. Myles Garrett is fun to watch! I don’t think Frankenstein could block this guy.
Unfortunately for Collins he has to try. La’el Collins was added in free agency in an attempt to solidify the offensive line. He has played well in a few games this season, but has been beaten by some of the league’s better pass-rushers. This is definitely a match-up to keep your eyes on.
Fun Fact: These two players combined weigh over 590lbs!
‘Terrifying Tandem‘
Joe Burrow and Ja’Maar Chase
According to many, Joe is “Sheisty” on the football field. One of the youngest quarterbacks to play in a superbowl, Burrow’s future seems bright. He can definitely put some air under the ball. With over 1,600 yards this season and 12 touchdowns, Burrow hopes he and the Bengals can fly to victory.
Playing with his former college quarterback Joe Burrow, they have built outstanding chemistry. They form an almost unstoppable duo, almost as iconic as Batman and Robin. When Chase is able to trick the defense, Burrow is there to deliver the treat. He’s caught four touchdowns so far this season, and is looking to add a few more every time he steps in the field.
Fun Fact: They have combined for 19 touchdowns since the start of last year, including two in last week’s game against Atlanta.
‘Sunday Superhero‘
Nick Chubb
Chubb is certainly one of the most feared running backs in the league. He makes linebackers look like they’ve seen a ghost. Running with purpose on every carry, you don’t want to be the man that has to tackle Nick Chubb! He’s got over 600 yards and seven touchdowns so far this season. Look for him to add to these totals on Halloween.
Fun Fact: During his time in college, Chubb was seriously injured. He took inspiration from ‘Batman; The Dark Knight Rises” to help him recover.
