Have a Movie Night
Laying in your bed or on your couch with blankets, snacks, and some of your roommates can be a perfect and relaxing way to spend your Halloween night. Put on a few of your favorite classic scary movies and have a chill night staying in.
Bake Halloween Themed Desserts
Baking is fun no matter what, but making Halloween themed desserts is perfect for when you decide to stay in. If you look up different desserts on Google, you’ll be faced with plenty of ideas including graveyard pudding cookie cups, vampire cookies, and Halloween cheesecake bars.
Dress Up and Take Pictures
Just because you’re dressed up doesn’t mean you have to leave your dorm this year. A fun idea to do with your friends is dress up in costumes or festive clothes and have a photoshoot. You’ll have plenty of pictures to post on social media without having to go through the hassle of leaving your building!
Buy Candy
A fun idea that can be done in the dorms is buying candy and leaving it outside for kids on your floor to take. It will make the people on your floor happy and it will also make you happy as there will probably be lots of leftovers to eat with your friends.
See What’s Going On In Your Building
A lot of the times RA’s or RHD’s have programs catered to holidays like Halloween. Check and see if there is anything going on in your building this weekend that your friends or the people on your floor are attending. It’s a great way to get out of your room but not have to face the cold weather outside all night.
Decorate Your Dorm
Going to Walmart or Marshalls and getting some cheap decorations for a decorating night is a great idea! Spend the night listening to music and decorating your room cute so you can post on social media!
