Now commonly used mostly as year books to be signed at the end of a school year the autograph book has almost faded into nostalgic obscurity. At the Brooks Museum in Cortland, there is an autograph book dated to be from the 19th century. Containing 25 signatures from various individuals, the autograph book stands to be a mini timecapsule of a different time.
